Hubie Tolson - Sukhoi Su-31

Hubie Tolson is an aerobatic pilot from New Bern, North Carolina, who has been flying since age 16. He holds multi-engine, instrument, commercial airplane, and commercial helicopter ratings. Tolson is known for his unique finale where he will pull the Sukhoi into a vertical climb at the crowds center. While going straight up, he will completely stop the engine and propeller of his aircraft causing it to slide backwards toward the ground and spin toward the ground. Tolson then glides the airplane inverted along the full length of the crowd. Tolson is the only pilot in the world to perform this daring maneuver.
