The
F-15E Strike Eagle is a dual-role fighter with two crew
members, a pilot and a weapons systems officer,
performing air- to-air and air-to-ground missions. An
array of avionics and electronics systems gives the
F-15E the capability to fight at low altitude, day or
night, and in all weather, as well as the capability to
fight its way to a target over long ranges, destroy
enemy ground positions and fight its way out. |
| Canadian Skyhawks |
The
Skyhawks are the
first parachute
demonstration
team of Canada.
Established in
1971, the team
already has more
than 3,100
successful jumps
that have

than 65 million
spectators
throughout the
world. |
| F/A 18 Hornet |
All-weather fighter and attack aircraft. The single-seat F/A-18
Hornet is the nation's first strike-fighter. It was designed for
traditional strike applications such as interdiction and close air
support without compromising its fighter capabilities. With its
excellent fighter and self-defense capabilities, the F/A-18 at the
same time increases strike mission survivability and supplements the
F-14 Tomcat in fleet air defense. F/A-18 Hornets are currently
operating in 37 tactical squadrons from air stations world-wide, and
from 10 aircraft carriers. |
| MARINE AV-8B HARRIER |

| TIM WEBER - THE GEICO 300S |
The
Extra 300s is a mid-wing composite aerobatic aircraft
built of space-age carbon fiber composites as well as
traditional steel tubing, fabric, & aluminum. It
features a 350+ horsepower Lycoming engine & a roll rate
in excess of 420 degrees per second. It has a wing span
of 24.6 feet & a length of 21.82 feet. It's maximum rate

| SUPER SHOCKWAVE JET TRUCK |
Performance
you ask? The ShockWave Jet
Truck runs over 300 mph racing
airplanes at airshows; holds the
world record in a quarter mile for
trucks at 256 mph in just 6.36
seconds; and holds the world record
for full size trucks at 376 mph as
recorded by Guinness Book of World
Records. At 36,000 horsepower, the
ShockWave has enough power to
accelerate at 3 Gs vertical, which
is as much as the Space shuttle! |
| C-130 HERCULES "FAT ALBERT" |
Fat
Albert cruises at a speed of more than 320 knots
(approximately 360 miles per hour) at 27,000 feet. Four
Allison turboprop engines, which produce more than
16,000 shaft-horsepower, provide Fat Albert Airlines
with the power to land and depart on runways as short as
2,500 feet.
At select show sites, Fat Albert demonstrates its jet-assisted takeoff (JATO) capability. Eight solid-fuel rocket bottles, four on each side, attached near the rear paratrooper doors thrust the Hercules skyward. Fired simultaneously, the JATO bottles allow the mammoth transport aircraft to takeoff within 1,500 feet, climb at a 45-degree angle, and propel it to an altitude of 1,000 feet in approximately 15 seconds. Getting Fat Albert airborne in minimal time and distance simulates conditions in hostile environments or on short, unprepared runways. |
| BILL LEFF AT-6 |
Performing in both the Cherry Point air show's
Night and Day shows, the T-6 Texan piloted
by Bill Leff will enthrall you and your
family with roar of the radial engine, the
flash of sun off the polished aluminum
surface and the volumes of smoke and
pyrotechnics shooting off the wingtips.
Exciting low level aerobatics include:
barrel rolls, inverted flight, loops,
four point rolls, and Cuban 8s. |
| MARINE AIR GROUND TASK FORCE (MAGTF) |
The MAGTF demonstrates what today's Marine Corps epitomizes
when it comes to anti-terrorism and fighting the bad guys. This
demo involves an awesome display of firepower and highlights the
various aspects of what makes up the various elements of
firepower and air and ground attacks. |
| DAN BUCHANAN - FLYING COLORS |
Dan
Buchanan, 50, of Minden, Nevada flies some of the quieter aircraft
on the air show circuit... A smooth, silent tow launched hang glider
and also a quiet, agile motorized wing for remote performances that
are not near airports. He flies in complete counterpoint to most
other air show professionals in the business and this great hearted
entertainer always throws in a few surprises during each
