F-22 Raptor Demo Team Returns

MARINE CORPS AIR STATION CHERRY POINT, N.C. (Jan. 11, 2024) — Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of the U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team to the 2024 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show, May 11-12.

Renowned for pushing the boundaries of aviation excellence, the F-22 Raptor Demo Team brings its unparalleled expertise to the skies. Showcasing the unmatched capabilities of the iconic fifth-generation fighter, even more, making it an air show you don’t want to miss.

The F-22A Raptor is a fifth-generation fighter incorporating fourth-generation stealth technology, radical maneuvering capabilities, the ability to fly at supersonic speed without afterburners and unprecedented pilot situational awareness, making it the most dominant and advanced superiority fighter in the world, according to the official team website.

The Raptor joins an already jam-packed line-up alongside notable performances such as the Hot Streak II Jet Truck, All-Veteran Jump Team, Randy Ball, RJ Gritter, Tom Larkin, Stephen Covington and New Bern’s own acrobatic pilot, Hubie Tolson, and of course the main event, the world-renowned U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
